The villagers from Cioropcani village, Ungheni district will benefit of roads without pits and mud. Approximately 800 meters were asphalted and nearly two kilometers were paved. People are glad that the "Good Roads for Moldova" program has reached their destination.

"In each one we put a piece of road, a 10-meter-long, and it's going forward. It was not so much in us, it's just the stumps getting stuck and ready."
Repair works cost nearly three million lei. Previously, road rehabilitation works also took place in two other villages. Altogether, in the three villages of Cioropcani, seven kilometers of road have been paved.
The Ungheni District Council allocated 200,000 lei for the repair of a pond-filled road in the village of Stolniceni.
"Every year, we repair one kilometer", said Cioropcani Mayor, Victor Robuleţ.
For repairing the roads from Ungheni district 88 million lei were allocated to the program of the Government.
"Of the 92 portions of road we have proposed for rehabilitation at the time of completion, 58 portions would be around 38%, we still have to work", said Ungheni district chairman Liudmila Guzun.
During the inspection on Cioropcani roads the Democratic deputy Sergiu Sirbu also came.
"In every locality we need roads, we need water, we need sewerage, lighting, aqueduct, kindergarten and family center. I hope and the mayor is promised to repair two kilometers of road next year", said PDM deputy, Sergiu Sirbu.
Within "Good Roads for Moldova" Program, launched at the initiative of PDM President Vlad Plahotniuc, 1275 kilometers of local roads will be rehabilitated, amounting to 1.6 billion lei.
