Goods worth 25 000 lei were discovered and confiscated at the "Palanca-Maiaki-Udobnoe" crossing point.

According to border police officers, a car driven by a 32-year-old citizen of Romania, attempted to enter Republic of Moldova.

Therefore, after searches, officers managed to find under the car's hood on the backseat, multiple boxes, containing batteries, cell phone cases and surveillance cameras.

Because the goods had no certificates of origin, they were confiscated. The case is investigated by Republic of Moldova's Customs Service.
