Government approves list of kindergartens to be renovated with Romanian support
83 kindergartens from the country districts, including Chisinau and Balti municipalities, will be renovated with the support of Romanian Government, from the irredeemable financial help of 100 million euro given to Moldova.
The total amount for the projects is of three million euro.
“The projects are of two categories. For some kindergartens will be purchased the necessary equipment and will be conducted works of territory arrangement, and fro others will be drafted the technical documentation and will be renewed the constructions from the point of view of energetic efficiency” declared the minister of Regional Development and Construction, Vasile Batca.
At the beginning of 2016, the minister Vasile Batca had a bilateral meeting with the deputy prime minister, minister of Regional Development and Public Administration of Romania, Vasile Dancu, during which was agreed the need of the vivification of improvement of the irredeemable financial help offered by the Romanian Government.
The Ministry of the Regional Development and Construction promoted the fulfillment of the development projects with direct benefits for Moldovan citizens and, together with the Romanian part, was decided the continuation of the Kindergartens Renovation Program, started in 2014 and successfully implemented by the Social Investment Fund from Moldova (FISM).
“These investment projects in the preschool infrastructure will create better conditions for the children attending the kindergartens throughout Moldova and will bring a value for the education system in the entire country. At the same time, the fulfillment of this Program will ensure the continuity of the bilateral cooperation in fulfilling the projects started in 2014” stressed the minister Vasile Batca.
The financing of the renovation of preschool institutions from Moldova takes place based on the Agreement signed between Romanian and Moldovan Governments on the implementation of the technical and financial assistance program based on a irredeemable financial aid in amount of 100 million euro given by Romania to Moldova, signed on 27 April 2010 in Bucharest (Agreement) and its five additional Protocols, which implementation is ensured by Ministry of Regional Development and Construction from Moldova.
