Government endorses raising excises for tobacco and oil, bigger salaries for tax inspectors and police

The Cabinet endorsed a series of amendments to the 2017 draft fiscal and customs policy.
Thus, the Government has okayed to raise the excises for tobacco and oil products, keeping the quota for luxury goods.
Fiscal facilities for the resident of the Free Economic Zones have been extended, on condition they invest more or hire more employees.
Facilities have been also provided for importers.
The taxes for renting real estate have been decreased for natural entities from 10 to 7%.
The Government has endorsed raising the salaries for fiscal inspectors, customs and police officers.
The bill is to be passed by the Parliament.
