Government prolongs moratorium on checking up companies
The state controls moratorium has been extended for three more months. The Government has approved of such a decision in its session today.
Thus, the policy will enter force on July 1, when the running moratorium expires.
The Economy Ministry has received 62 requests from state agencies to be allowed to verify certain companies, during all this period. But ten have been endorsed.
Earlier the Government approved of a bill on state controls. Only 11 agencies will remain with competences to operate checkups on companies, out of 33. There remain five independent regulators, too. The bill also bans verifying the companies during the first three years after launching.
