Government approved the signing the Agreement between Moldova and Swiss Federal Council on Regular Air Services. The document regulates the possibility of operating direct flights between the two states.

The agreement sets out the operation principles of bilateral air services, including aviation security rules, airworthiness and competence certificates and fees.

The measure improves the investment climate in Moldova and strengthens the diplomatic and economic relations between the two states.

The document also facilitates the opening of the airline market in our country and diversifies the direct flights operating destinations in Chisinau.

According to statistical data, during the last year, there were about 17,000 journeys on the Moldova-Switzerland race.

Flights were made via connections in third cities.
