11 youth centers will be opened in Moldova in several districts, supported by the Government.
The administrations of those districts have signed collaboration agreements with the Ministry of Culture.
"We're going to renovate computers, technology because the young will have access to programs, projects", said Iraida Bânzari, president of Făleşti district.
Culture Minister Monica Babuc says that this partnership gives the young generation the opportunity to develop personally and professionally in the country.
"We think these youth centers will enable the young generation to develop themselves and connect them to the country destiny. Three million lei will be awarded annually for local grants, so young people who will apply to various projects related to community development "said Minister Monica Babuc.
The Rezina district has allocated 100 million lei this year for the establishment of a youth center. The state budget will provide another 100,000 lei.
The project to open the 11 youth centers is scheduled for 2017-2020.
Last November, nine districts signed agreements on the creation of these institutions.
