The Cabinet of ministers supports the meat tickets project. Today, the Government gave a positive opinion to this project and they want to fasten the process of releasing the meal tickets.

The project establishes a vast range of rules for the employed, employers, operators and commercial units. Also, the document provides including some sanctions in the Conventional Code.

Thus, the beneficiaries of the meal tickets who will transmit those to other persons risk to receive a fine between 2500 and 5 000 lei.

Also, if the employers decrease the employees salaries because of the meal tickets, they will be fined by 10 thousand lei.

The economic agents who will sell alcohol and cigarettes on meal tickets will receive fines worth up to 15 thousand lei. More severe sanctions of up to 20,000 lei are provided for public catering units that will change their meal vouchers for a sum of money.
