The marketing rules for products enriched with vitamins and minerals will now be more stringent. The government has adopted a regulation requiring more rigor for the packaging of these foods.
According to the project's authors, vitamins and minerals are mostly found in dairy products, juices or breakfast cereals.
Most people say they're not sure of the quality of the food they're buying:
"Stricter control is never superfluous, for example, I do not understand how these products can be enriched with vitamin C."
The provisions of the Regulation will enter into force after the publication of the document in the Official Gazette.
Economic agents will have a transition period to adapt to the new requirements.
