The decision according to which, the Government will offer 600 lei allowances for 61 thousand retired for the winter holidays entered into force today. The decision was published in the Monitorul Oficial.

The state budget spent 37 million lei for this allowances. The beneficiaries will take this at the end of the month.

We remind that previously, 550 thousand persons whose pensions are lower than two thousand lei received allowances.

The initiative belongs to Vlad Plahotniuc, the DPM chairman.

Also, the 2019 budget law entered into force today. This provides incomes of 42 billion lei and costs of 47,6 billion lei.
