Insurance companies gained over MDL300 mn last year from selling green card policies. It’s 14 % up year over year.

According to the Car Insurers Burreau, the drivers bought as many as 317,000 policies.

The leader in sales is Moldasig, which sold policies worth MDL62 mn.

210,000 policies were sold to drivers traveling to Ukraine, Russia or Belarus.

100,000 policies were sold to drivers traveling to the member countries of the Green Card system.
