A 31 years old man from Nisporeni district was sentenced to six years and five months of prison after beating his concubine. He also had a criminal record, and the sentence has the right to appeal. 

According to prosecutors, the incident took place last April, when the defendant bitterly struck concubine with his fists and legs until it fainted. After the victim recovered, the blows continued. The woman was rescued by the neighbors who called the ambulance. The victim was hospitalized in serious condition at the hospital.

The two concubines lived together for four years and had two minor children.
