This morning a 37 year old man from Chisinau was detained in a cruel offense for committing a robbery.
The individual stole a cell phone from a 59-year-old man while they were at the trolley station, then with the stolen good he tried to run in an unknown direction, but when he was noticed by a policeman, the suspect tried to escape by the good he stole, throwing him away. He was detained and escorted to the Inspectorate for hearings and establishing the circumstances. Following the hearings, the individual acknowledged the guilt.
It is worth mentioning that he had previously been tried for similar crimes. If found guilty, the suspect risks a prison sentence of up to 7 years.
