Health Care campaign reached Baimaclia. Five doctors checked up over one hundred people

Five specialists, including a neurologist, a cardiologist, an endocrinologist, an ophthalmologist and a therapist, examined the elderly for free people from Baimaclia village, Cantemir district.
Even in the morning, more than a hundred elders came to the Health Center in the town to get consultations.
Tamara Chiosca suffers more time from blood pressure. Because she can not go to control every month in the district center, the woman was glad that the doctors came to the village.
"We have been doing a lot of research, but now we have not done it any more." Doctors do not have enough physicians in so many villages, it is very difficult", said Tamara Chiosca.
Vasile Botezatu is 72 years old and suffered two eye surgery. Periodically, it needs to be examined
by an ophthalmologist.
"Thanks for the consultation for people especially elderly, sick. For us this very much means for people from the country", said Vasile Botezatu, retired.
Those who have been consulted remain satisfied and say that they are welcome in every locality.
"It is very good to come to the village and we do not walk anymore. We go to the doctor every month.
"Thank you for going further and paying for it here for free. Thank you for helping."
The representatives of the Health Center say people have been eager for the arrival of specialists.
"We have an acute shortage of family physicians, but we only activate two doctors in the area, it is welcome, people are receptive they want to be investigated, they want to have access to medicine," said the head of the Baimaclia Health Center, Elena Olteanu.
The Campaign "Health Care" was initiated by the Democratic Party of Moldova in partnership with the Ministry of Health.
"There are a lot of elderly people waiting for the team to benefit from the investigation. The Democratic Party has set itself the goal of coming as close as possible to the citizens to provide them with support, not just the investigations they need but also the treatment of these people", said PDM deputy Elena Bacalu.
Baimaclia village is the 17th place in which the doctors arrived. Since May, since the project was launched, more than 2600 people from many districts benefited of free medical check up.
