Hearings in Parliament regarding interference of Open Dialogue in country's internal policy and financing some parties
Representatives of several state institutions and political formations will be heard today in Parliament's Inquiry Commission on the interference of the Open Dialogue Foundation in the country's domestic policy and the funding of some parties.
According to Commission President Igor Vremea, they provided more information to be analyzed. On Tuesday, the deputy said that representatives from organizations linked to the Open Dialog Foundation would also be present before legislators.
Last week, the people's electors extended the commission's work for another 30 days, on the grounds that Members needed more time to gather the necessary information.
The head of the NGO, Ludmila Kozlovska, was expelled this summer from the EU for connections with Russian special services. Recently, in Warsaw, delegates from several OSCE countries have accused the foundation of lobbying for dangerous criminals, benefiting from dubious funding and delivering military equipment to Donbass.
Zeppelin journalists have previously written that the Open Dialog Foundation, funded by controversial oligarch Muhtar Abliazov, has been lobbying in Europe for parties led by Maia Sandu and Andrei Nastase. In this list is also the interlop Veaceslav Platon.
