The Moldovan authorities remind that the heavy trucks are banned from running on the national roads at air temperatures above 30 degrees Celsius.

The Transport Ministry specifies the trucks are prohibited to run from 10:00 a.m. to 08:00 p.m. on the roads where special signs are placed.

The restrictions do not refer to cars carrying passengers, live animals or produce.

The fine for encroaching on the restriction is 2,000 Moldovan lei ($100).
