Christmas fair is a highlight of the holidays for Moldovans and fortified security measures are needed to keep people safe. The law enforcement officials announce that police, Carabinieri and firemen are working in special regime. 

There will also be over 500 firemen and 400 rescuers on duty. 

In situations of risk, the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations urges people to call the 112 Service.

"There will be over 500 firefighters and rescue workers, with 130 special intervention vehicles ready to prevent and liquidate the risk situations on holidays, t"said IGSU press officer Liliana Puşcaşu.
