The most modern educational institution in Causeni district opened its doors for pupils. "Mesterul Manole" High School in Salcuta village has been capital renovated. After repairs, interactive tables, modern furniture, and showers appeared here. Also, a heating system was installed and the windows changed. Students say that up to these works, in winter they had to sit down with gloves because they were cold in the halls.

"She was in cold colors before, but now she's warm and warmer in school".

"In the winter, everyone came in their sweaters, they were sitting in the benches with gloves, and with a great pleasure they even come to work, every time an atmosphere seems like someone gives me the power to work, and the students are like others," said the teacher, Neonila Turcanu.

Pupils are happy to be able to study in a pleasant environment.

Parents even think the institution can compete with a European one.

"If we are talking about a school of the future, as a parent, I would like my child to study in this school," said the inhabitant of Sălcuţa village, Valentina Jilihovschi.

The director of the high school said that the renovation works lasted almost three years and the investments amounted to 42 million lei. Money was provided by the World Bank.
