Holiday season will begin today in the Capital. The Christmas tree from Great National Assembly Square will be inaugurated this evening.

The tree was installed last weekend and this evening the Christmas lights will be lit in the Capital, while the mood will be maintained by local singers.

The 17 meter tree was decorated with 1150 ornaments and 4 kg of Christmas lights. The first tree, which was transported from Ukraine, arrived ruined.

Because of this, it had to be cut down and another Christmas tree urgently installed. Therefore, this year's main tree, became a 50-year-old one that used to grow in the yard of a kindergarten from the Capital.
