The persons who poison the homeless cats or dogs will be punished according to the law enforcement. The issue of the homeless dogs will be solved by their sterilization. Such a disposition was signed by Ruslan Codreanu, the interim of the Capital.

The law draft should be operated by the Contravention Code of Moldova that punished the people who leave their pets.

"I want to appeal the citizens to report the City Hall cases where they see that dogs or cats are poisoned and we will make these people respond, according to the law enforcement", said Ruslan Codreanu.

In order to fight against bad behavior to the street animals, Ruslan Codreanu took some measures:

-elaborated the municipal regulations regarding pets;
-negotiated with the international organization Animal Society a contract to sterilize homeless dogs from Chisinau;
-created hostages in Chisinau.
