Hopeful sues Central Election Commission for not letting him run for president
Roman Mihăeş, a presidential hopeful, sued the central Election Commission (CEC) for not registering him in the race.
He submitted the subscription lists to the CEC on September 29, but the Election Authority refused to register him, after finding faults in his signatures lists.
The CEC also rejected the candidacies of Ion Dron, Vasile Tarlev and Vitalia Pavlicenco. The last to be registered were Ana Guţu, Maia Laguta, Valeriu Ghileţchi and Silvia Radu.
