Horrifying! Chinese toddler balanced on the tiny ledge out of a five-storey window
A Chinese toddler has cheated death after crawling dangerously on the tiny ledge out of a five-storey window, wrote dailymail.co.uk.
In a shocking video emerged on Chinese media , the child is seen getting stuck on the ledge, and at one point the child stood up and looked through the window into the flat.
The child was carried back into the room later by an adult.
The video was allegedly filmed today at a residential neighbourhood in Changchun, north-east China's Jilin Province.
It's said that the toddler, whose gender remains unknown, climbed out of the window after being left unattended.
A male voice can be heard saying 'don't move, child' and 'oh my god'.
The video also shows neighbours holding duvets and blankets underneath the window as they prepared to catch the toddler if it falls.
One witnessing neighbour, an elderly man, told Pear Video: 'The child was not afraid at all. It was just playing.'
Another eyewitness told Pear that he noticed the child after hearing cries of 'mum' from above.
The man said he quickly stood beneath the window in order to catch the child. He added that some neighbours had tried to kick open the door to save the child.
A few minutes later, an adult, said to be female, dragged the child back to the flat.
It remains unsure whether the adult was home when the child climbed out or rushed back after being notified of the situation.
