A hovercraft brought from Russia to the village of Molovata, on the Dniester, functions alright.

It has carried goods and people over the river.

According to an official with the Transports Ministry, the vessel has been adapted to Moldova’s weather conditions, so that it can hover over ice when the Dniester is frozen.

It supplies the villages of Molovata-Nouă and Cocieri.

The hovercraft can take 12 passengers and 2-3 vehicles.
