We speak Romanian language in the Republic of Moldova. This is the reply of the patrol policeman who stopped a driver from Vulcanesti on the road.

The policeman asked the driver to present the driving license and insisted on discussing in Romanian language.

"I am not obliged to talk in Russian.
-Aren't you obliged to talk in Russian?
-You are Republic of Moldova citizen, right?
-Yes.
-So talk in the state language, please", said the policeman.

The incident took place on Saturday in Cimislia. The policeman stopped the driver because of the excessive speed.
