Farmers have placed greater trust in government subsidies since the beginning of this year, according to a press release. 

As it said, Moldovan agricultural investments amounted to around 550 million lei during this period which have created 239 new jobs and 286 seasonal jobs. 

Through National Fund for agricultural development and rural environment, the state has offered totally 900 million lei. The Fund's management institution, agency of Interventions and Payments for Agriculture (AIPA), has accepted to grant 440 farmers subsidies each worth 64,4 mln. lei.

According to AIPA, 887 applications were submitted, an 10% increase compared with the same period last year.
