Moldova has lower fuel prices than its neighbors Ukraine and Romania. One liter of gasoline costs 17,02 lei. In Ukraine the price is almost 3 lei higher, it reaches 19,95 lei, while in Romania it is 24,08 lei.

The analyze of the average prices in gas stations has shown that when the prices increased, these was lower in Moldova, anyway. For example, the gasoline price increased by 42 bani in Moldova, while in Romania by 58 bani and by 1,24 lei in Ukraine.

In March and April, the gasoline in Moldova costed 16,75 lei. In the neighbor countries the price increased.
