Chisinau city council approved the levy of 2 lei to use a public toilet. Also, the local elected officials decided to transfer the toilets, built by the General Housing-Communal and Landscape Directorate, in the management of the Association of green space management

There are eight public toilets located in the parks "Alunelul", "La Izvor", "Râșcani" and "Valea Trandafirilor". These are contemporary modular constructions, with autonomous heating system, with special room for people with disabilities. At each unit a video surveillance system was installed to prevent vandalism.

For the construction of a public toilet the municipality allocates around 750 thousand lei. They are open between 08:00 and 22:00.
