Hundreds pupils participate tourist control march in Criuleni
For five days, hundreds of students in Criuleni will compete in sport competitions. The competitions, which started on Friday, will take place in the forest near the village of Râşcova.
Children from 18 educational institutions from the district participate in the competition.
Competitors have to go through four tourist trips: "Geographic orientation after the map", "Transporting the wounded", "Climbing up and down with the help of the rope" and "Linking the knots".
The teams are made up of 12 participants. While half of the contestants compete in sporting competitions, the other colleagues take care of the camp:
"We prepare buckwheat. The buckwheat is prepared with tomato paste, onion and carrot, and to make it more tasty we add different spices. "
The competitions are organized by the Criuleni Education Directorate.
"I came with children from Criuleni district, about 300 children, and they came here to Râşcova to show their craftsmanship and to make those tourist trails, it's already a good tradition, I think it would be good for other districts to follow, "said Criuleni district president, Veaceslav Burlac.
The tourist control march takes place for the 14th consecutive year.
