Moldova and Hungary will improve cooperation in food safety, animal health and phytosanitary, as the Chisinau Government has endorsed a memo of understanding between the Agriculture Ministries of the two states.
The document provides for strengthening the capacities of state entities charged with food safety, with adjusting to sanitary and veterinary requirements of the EU. This is going to allow for expanding the categories of produce exported to the EU.
The memo will also allow for cooperating in assistance programs funded by the EU and regional structures.
The memo was inked on 5 December 2016 in Budapest.
