The hunting season will be declared open on August 18th. According to a project of the Government, the activities can be practiced on Wednesdays not just on Saturdays and Sundays.
This season is forbidden to hunt deer, badgers, partridge or pigeons. Instead, those who love hunting will be allowed to shoot 15,700 rabbits and 20,000 pheasants. It will also allow hunting 18,000 ducks and quails.
Hunters have the right to sow 17,000 pigeons and 1,800 geese. The number of wild boars that can be slaughtered reaches almost 400. However, at the end of hunting parties, all wild boar carcasses will be subject to veterinary expertise.
The draft approved by the Executive also provides for a reduction in the hunting period for aquatic bird species. Thus, the season for geese and ducks will begin on September 22 and will end at the end of December. On the other hand, wild boar hunting will be allowed from September 29 until December 30. Pheasants will be hunted from early October, and rabbits in November. The hunting season 2018-2019 will end on February 26.
