"I am Moldova" campaign reaches Vadul-Rascov village, Dumitru Matcovschi hometown
This time, the campaign was hosted in Vadul-Rascov village, the hometown of the great poet Dumitru Matcovschi.
Villagers of Vadul Raşcov village are proud to have been born in the same town where the poet spent his childhood.
"Dumitru Matcovschi was a man of the town, a man who loved the village where he lived. He loved his parents very much. A man who all sang love poetry for native country, Dniester."
Vadul-Rascov village was founded in 1426. There are several museums and ruins of a Dacian fortresses and numerous rock cells dug into Dniester.
