Igor Dodon and Maia Sandu remain favorite in poll for 2020 Presidential Elections
Igor Dodon and Maia Sandu would gain the most votes if the presidential elections were to take place next Sunday, according to the new survey conducted by the Association of Sociologists and Demographers.
As shown in the survey, the president would accumulate 34.5 percent of the votes; PAS leader Maia Sandu - over 19 percent.
7.5 percent of respondents voted for Andrei Nastase; over 5 percent for Renato Usatîi; 4.3 percent for Pavel Filip.
If the parliamentary elections were held next Sunday, only three parties would enter the future legislature: the Socialist Party (34 percent), the Action and Solidarity Party (22 percent), Sor Party (5.1 percent).
Moreover, 11 percent of respondents could not decide which party to vote for in the early parliamentary elections.
The survey of the Association of Sociologists and Demographers was conducted between July 14 and 24, on a sample of 1175 people, and the margin of error is plus minus three percent.
