The leader of the Socialists Party Igor Dodon has won the presidential election and thus becomes Moldova's third president directly elected by the people.
After processing 96.83% minutes, Dodon garnered 55.17% of suffrages.
His competitor, PAS leader Maia Sandu, got 44.83% of the ballots.
