The General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations launches this year the Christmas Caravan. The rescuers will go to the localities of Causeni, Anenii-Noi, Nisporeni and Straseni districts to inform citizens about the dangers that can occur during the winter holidays and offer gifts to their children.

The event is organized for the third consecutive year.

The caravan will begin on December 24th in the Great National Assembly Square, where they will start off in the country with more mute motorcycles.

At the same time, firefighters have announced that they will prolong the campaign "A protected home - a saved life".

Within it, 4 000 smoke detectors were installed in over 200 localities.

According to IGSU, the devices have managed to save three families so far.
