IMAS: Vlad Plahotniuc is the politician with the most spectacular increase of trust from Moldovans
Activity of DPM President, Vlad Plahotniuc, is increasingly appreciated by Moldovans. The latest IMAS study, presented today, shows that the Democratic leader has seen spectacular growth compared to politicians in other parties. The leaders of the PAS-PPDA binomial, Andrei Nastase and Maia Sandu are far away and with a shrinking score.
The activity of the leader of the Democratic Party of Moldova, Vlad Plahotniuc, was appreciated with notes from 7 to 10 by 35.8 % of the survey participants. Data show that the number of those who are happy with what the president of the Democrats is doing has increased by ten percentage points compared to last December.
A good score is recorded by the vice-president of DPM, Andrian Candu, who has accumulated more than 29 percent. The Democrat's quote grew towards the end of 2018 by almost eight percentage points.
The first Vice-President of the DPM, Pavel Filip, also appreciates the good marks. Prime Minister's activity is appreciated by more than 35 % of the survey participants.
Although President Igor Dodon enjoys the highest appreciation, however, his share is decreasing. In the past three months, the head of state lost two percentage points and recorded a result of nearly 43 percent.
The same survey shows that in a dramatic fall is the PAS leader, Maia Sandu. It was appreciated with notes from 7 to 10 over 22 percent of Moldovans, 5.5 percentage points less than in December.
In the same situation is Andrei Nastase, colleague of electoral block of Maia Sandu. The activity of PPDA leader is seen positively by almost 21 percent of Moldovans. The number of supporters, however, has fallen by four percentage points compared to the end of last year.
The survey was conducted by IMAS in collaboration with Lake Research Partners, an American company, from 3 to 16 February, on a sample of 1521 people. The margin of error is plus minus 2.5 percent.
