The International Monetary Fund approved a tranche of $ 33.75 million for Moldova. 22.5 million USD are already in the National Bank's account, and other 11.25 million will be next week. The announcement was made by Prime Minister Pavel Filip.

According to the prime minister, the new installment is a recognition of the efforts of the Government and the National Bank in meeting the commitments made with the IMF.

Roman Chirca, economy analyst said that by granting this tranche of 33.75 million Euro, the IMF offers certainty about the potential infrastructure programs that can be started and is "a guarantor that ensures that the Republic of Moldova is in the monetary policy stability area.
