Incomes obtained abroad by beneficiaries of Prima Casa project are eligible
The incomes obtained abroad by the wife, husband or relatives of those who applied to "Prima casa" project will be considered eligible.
The decision was taken by the Economy Commission that examined many fines before voting the project in the second reading. The condition for the incomes it to be obtained legally.
"We accepted the foreign incomes to be the basis of the credit. It is a step to stimulate this project", said Stefan Creanga, the President of the Economy Commission.
Some of the deputies insisted for the program to be available for the Moldovans who work abroad too.
"This can't be an impediment for the ones who work legally abroad, to participate at the program", said Vladimir Cernat, deputy.
"We can't verify how real is this contract. I can't even verify if the company exists outside of Moldova", mentioned Iurii Cicibaba, the deputy Minister of Finances.
According to Cernat, one of the banks wants to offer credits for the ones who work abroad. This practice can be used within the program "Prima Casa". The members of the Commission decided to return to this subject after a half of a year. The experts think the decision will have a positive impact, as many citizens will have the opportunity for a credit.
"If the person is feasible and has finances, then I think this person can and should be eligible, because the project is very good", declared Roman Chirica, economic expert.
The authorities announced they work to elaborate a new law that will facilitate the access of the budgetary workers to this program. At the project can apply all the Moldovans under 45 who have a an official job. The beneficiaries should not have another immobile or loan and their salary should be two times higher than the monthly rate. As for the beginning, they should pay 10% of the apartment's cost, that is not higher than a million lei.
