Over than a third of 1370 accidents over the last period took place because of excessive speed. To reduce the number of accidents, the patrol inspectors organized raids in all the country.

"-You exceeded the speed limit."

Over than a thousand drivers exceeded the speed limit. The majority of them say that they were in a hurry.

"-I didn't pay attention I exceed the speed limit.
-Where are you going?
-Home."

Some of the drivers found another excuse: the radar.

The patrol inspectors checked the history of the encroaches. They found out that the driver didn't pay a fine that lasts since May.

"I didn't exceed the speed."

At the same time, a driver had a fake driving license. The raids continue.

"We evolve raids on the whole territory of Moldova", said Pavel Apostol, press officer of INP.

In the first seven months of this year, 78 people died, while 512 were wounded, within road accidents.
