Interests rates drop for loans and deposits in Moldovan lei

Moldovan-leu loans become more accessible. The interest is 3% less than last year.
According to data of the National Bank (BNM), the interest rate in October was 13.05 %, that’s 2.7 p.p. less year on year, and 0.54 p.p. less than in September.
The loans granted for a term of 2-5 years are the most popular.
On the other hand, deposit interests are also down. In October 2016, the average interest rate on deposits was 7.24 %, that’s 6.78 p.p. year on year.
Compared to September 2016, the interest rate on deposits in Moldovan lei dropped 0.36 p.p.. The most popular deposits are for a term of 3-6 months.
