Interim Director of Professional School No. 2 arrested for exploitation of Child Labour
Interim Director of Professional School No. 2 from the Capital was arrested by prosecutors and officers from Center for Combating Human Trafficking.
Law enforcement have searched the office and car of Valentina Dobândă, who is suspected for exploitation of child Labour.
According to the investigation, for half a year, 18 minors were obligated to work in hotels and other banquet halls from Romania. Despite promising the pupils a decent salary, they were paid only 3 500 lei per month.
She also sent pupils to work in Dubăsari district, under the pretext that they needed internships. The suspect risks to 20 years of imprisonment.
