Interim Mayor Silvia Radu led today her final meeting at the City Hall. The official announced that if she will be registered to run as independent candidate at the elections, she will resign and name a new deputy Mayor who will take her place, during the political campaign.

"I believe that to the end of the elections, depending on who will be mayor, you will continue working, therefore I urge everyone to continue working as before. Citizens of Chisinau must not suffer from the elections. I wish luck to everyone. I will resign the moment the Electoral Commission will register me as a candidate" Silvia Radu declared.

Interim Mayor of the Capital, Silvia Radu, submitted last week at the Electoral Commission over 13 000 signatures. She declared her wish to continue projects that were begun while she was interim.

To this points, 9 candidates are running for Chisinau Mayor, while the Electoral Commission has two more day to take decision regarding other applicants.
