Interior Ministry tries to retain workforce by giving them corporate apartments

Rescuers and firefighters will get corporate apartments they will live in while doing their jobs.
The Interior Ministry whereto they are subordinates plans to build a dwelling bloc in the Telecentru quarter of Chisinau (south.)
The Ministry hopes to retain them, so that they don’t quit because of accommodation problems.
"We hope by improving the social kit: apartments, wages, medical insurance, etc., we’ll stop the employees’ fluctuation within the system, because it’s bad for the Ministry: experienced people leave," said Alexandru Jizdan, the Minister of Internal Affairs.
As many as 2,480 employees work as rescuers and firefighters at the Emergency Service of the Interior Ministry, and 800 of them do not have dwellings.
