The head of the Capital Construction Directorate, Alexandru Panfilii, resigned. The announcement was made by the interim mayor of Chisinau, Ruslan Codreanu, following the operative meeting.

According to Codreanu, the Interim Mayor has initiated a job investigation within the directorate because he has detected several irregularities, including some construction works that were started too late or were not done as it should be.

Immediately afterwards, Panfili gave his resignation but did not specify who he was to replace.
