International Fund for Agricultural Development aids Moldovan entrepreneurs to promote their businesses

Young entrepreneurs, small and medium-sized companies may get grants and technical assistance to develop their businesses.
The International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) pays up to 50% of their expenses on advertising and promotion. The grants are offered only if the business is financed through the IFAD.
"It’s about developing and registering trademarks, logos, promotion, web pages, attending exhibitions," said Elena Burlacu from the IFAD.
The IFAD funds projects of up to MDL700,000, of which 40 % is given as grants.
The interest rate is 9.9%. The IFAD has financed over 700 projects totaling %10 mn, as $2.6 mn for 450 businesses will be allocated til later this year.
