The activity of the Parliament's inquiry commission investigating the interference of the Open Dialogue Foundation in the internal affairs of our country was extended for another 60 days. A decision in this regard was taken today by the elected people at the initiative of the committee president, DPM deputy Igor Vremea. According to him, the committee still needs time to gather information.
"We made some interrogations to which we still do not have the official answers, including from the political parties. We want to get even the answers, so we can analyze something," said Igor Vremea, DPM deputy.
NGO leader Ludmila Kozlovska was expelled this summer from the EU for connections with Russian special services.
Recently, in Warsaw, in a debate under the OSCE aegis, delegates from several countries have accused the foundation of lobbying for dangerous criminals, receiving dubious funding and delivering military equipment to the Donbass conflict region, Ukraine.
Moreover, it was mentioned that the Kozlovska-led NGO manipulates and uses false information to influence the decisions taken by the European institutions.
And, at the end of August, Romanian MEP Andi Cristea asked for the Foundation's sources of funding to be investigated.
Zeppelin journalists have previously written that the Open Dialog Foundation, funded by the controversial oligarch of Kazakhstan Muhtar Abliazov, has been lobbying in Europe for the parties led by Maia Sandu and Andrei Nastase.
This list also includes the number one raider in the CIS, Veaceslav Platon.
