Ion Ceban will contest the decision of Chisinau Court
Andrei Nastase, the PPDA president contested the Court of Appeal's decision to not validate mayoral elections from Chisinau. Till the end of this week, the magistrates will publish the last decision.
"Rodica Berdilo judge committed a crime. I thought they will motivate their decision. We will contest it this morning. First of all, we will make a preliminary appeal and then we will contest it", said Andrei Nastase, the chosen mayor of Chisinau.
Nastase also announced that he will organized a protest in front of the City Hall.
Ion Ceban, the former candidate to run for the Chisinau mayor declared he will also contest the decision of the Chisinau Court. He says that this decision is not right.
Ceban said that the instance's decision has a political base and it was adopted in 2015, at the request of PLDM.
"One of the greatest beneficiaries of this situation is Andrei Nastase. He is being victimized. I don't think he would have done good things at the City Hall. I want to see him at the City Hall, not protesting in the street", said Ion Ceban, candidate to run for mayor.
Ceban also added that he doesn't insist on the mayoral mandate, in case if the instance decides it. On Tuesday evening, the Chisinau City hall declared that the second tour of the Capital mayor elections is not valid.
They didn't motivate the decision yet. Within the election campaign, many politicians from Romania and the EU supported Andrei Nastase.
