Ion Groza, Alexandr Oleinic and Viorel Melnic independent deputies requested the Constitutional Court to express their opinion about the the following subject: whether or no the Parliament should change the election system on a smaller time period and if the snap election can be organized based on another election system.
The three deputies submitted the request to the Constitutional Court today and asked for an urgent reply.
The MPs consider that the modification of the election system to organize snap election on another voting system is a grave encroach of the state of law and the free, democratic way to evolve the election and the international institutions."
"We are against organizing snap election, because the deputies should already start working, instead of spending money on snap election", was written in the request.
The independent deputies mention that they recognize the right of the parties to change the election system.
The constitutional court will check on the request.
