A rural British A-road may have been the scene of the most expensive traffic jam in history after 36 Ferraris totalling more than £7million were spotted queuing at a set of temporary traffic lights. HGV driver, Doug DeQuincey, had pulled over to make a call at a layby on the A44 Woodstock Road in Yarnton, near Oxford when he saw the fleet of super cars pulling up alongside his truck as they approached the lights.
With each car worth at least £200k, the 43-year-old from Milton Keynes quickly used his phone to video the queue of high-performance cars - worth more than £7.2 million in total.Â
