The website, "Deepdotweb," was a gateway linking to other sites hawking illegal goods and services.
Sales on individual websites were made through "Deepdotweb," the latter of which made money in the process. The operators of the website made millions of dollars in the process. Money transfers were carried out via bitcoin.
The undercover investigation was carried out over the past two months, and made public only with the arrest of the suspects.
