Dozens of Palestinians demonstrated on Thursday calling for the Palestinian right of return to lands from which they were uprooted during the conflict with Israel.
Demonstrators waved Palestinian flags as they marched toward the fence separating them from the Jewish settlement of Har Homa, where they planned to erect tents. Israeli troops fired tear gas to disperse them.
The protest is part of a series planned, most in the Gaza Strip, calling for the right of return for Palestinians.
Gazans are also protesting against the Israeli-Egyptian blockade on the territory.
